Set Out And Restore invests in young women's well-being and skills, so they can grow into their own lives and contribute to the communities around them.
Who we are
Set Out And Restore was founded in Charlotte in 2023 by Trina Duncan, who filed the incorporation herself and serves as Executive Director, giving about twenty hours a week and taking no pay. It is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation, recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Nothing is open for young women to join yet — the first year went on getting the charity properly formed and registered rather than on programs. Anyone who wants to know where things stand can email info@we-soar.org.

What we are setting out to do
The three parts of the filed purpose, and where each one stands.
The first half of the charity's stated purpose: investing in what a young woman knows and can do. Nothing is open to join yet.
The other half, and we named the two together on purpose: well-being alongside skills, not one after the other.
What the two are for. The Internal Revenue Service records our activity as services to promote the independence of specific populations, and that is the aim: a young woman able to shape her own life.
